Vitamins Pregnant Women Need

Pregnant women have a lot to do in order to keep the baby they are carrying healthy. The one big thing that they have to do is that they have to make sure that they get all the vitamins that they need. What are some of those vitamins which are needed?
Calcium is one of the things that they need. Calcium makes the bones of the fetus grow strong. Strong bones, which mean a strong baby. Another thing that this does is that it creates less of a chance for blood clots.
Pregnant women also need iron and protein. Iron is needed to help a child from having a low birth weight. It lessens the chance of a premature baby as well. Then, protein helps in other ways. This helps in repairing cells. Something else, which is needed is zinc. Zinc is found to help with insulin and enzymes.
Now, when one looks at the vitamins which are needed there is Vitamin A, which is needed for bone growth. There is Vitamin B, which is needed as well. Vitamin B helps with creating the nervous system. There is also vitamin C that helps with protecting the tissue and building the immune system. Then, there is also Vitamin D which also helps with bones and teeth and Vitamin E. this helps with the muscle and red blood cells.
There are many more than just those. However, there are too many to name. There are many resources that one can look at to find out what all a pregnant woman needs. Of course, the doctor will help her to understand what she will need as well. When this is done, they can find that long as the mother eats and takes in as much as she can of all this stuff, then the baby as well as the mother will be just fine.

Calming a Woman in Labor

Women love the prospect of being mothers. However, the time of actually going into labor can be very stressful. It’s important that those who are with a pregnant woman needs to keep the woman in labor calm for the sake of the woman and the baby that is about to be born. Here are ways to do this.
The pain is something that the woman is going to be stuck on. This is why it’s important to keep them walking. Keep her mind off the pain. This is one way to keep the woman calm. Walking or watching a movie or something of the sorts can distract the pregnant woman.
Another thing that can help is to make sure they breathe. Breathing can be something that many women don’t do enough of when they go into labor. They panic. They focus too much on the pain. So, they need a coach to teach them how to breathe. When they see this, then they can practice it too.
Sometimes, the women will take the classes which will teach them everything that they need to do. However, it’s easy for them to forget how to do this. When a person is with them, helping them through the contractions with as little discomfort as possible is what is needed to be done. This means telling them that everything will be okay. It might mean feeding her ice chips and so forth.
The last thing that one can do is make sure that they are comfortable. Give them a hand to squeeze. Get them pillows. Help them to find a comfortable spot and more. When this is done, then one can find that they are well-off and the delivery will go as well as possible. This is what they want after all. This is what is needed for a baby to be born well and healthy.
