Vitamins Pregnant Women Need

Pregnant women have a lot to do in order to keep the baby they are carrying healthy. The one big thing that they have to do is that they have to make sure that they get all the vitamins that they need. What are some of those vitamins which are needed?
Calcium is one of the things that they need. Calcium makes the bones of the fetus grow strong. Strong bones, which mean a strong baby. Another thing that this does is that it creates less of a chance for blood clots.
Pregnant women also need iron and protein. Iron is needed to help a child from having a low birth weight. It lessens the chance of a premature baby as well. Then, protein helps in other ways. This helps in repairing cells. Something else, which is needed is zinc. Zinc is found to help with insulin and enzymes.
Now, when one looks at the vitamins which are needed there is Vitamin A, which is needed for bone growth. There is Vitamin B, which is needed as well. Vitamin B helps with creating the nervous system. There is also vitamin C that helps with protecting the tissue and building the immune system. Then, there is also Vitamin D which also helps with bones and teeth and Vitamin E. this helps with the muscle and red blood cells.
There are many more than just those. However, there are too many to name. There are many resources that one can look at to find out what all a pregnant woman needs. Of course, the doctor will help her to understand what she will need as well. When this is done, they can find that long as the mother eats and takes in as much as she can of all this stuff, then the baby as well as the mother will be just fine.
